When Ayden was one year old he contracted Pneumococcal and his body started shutting down. The only organ that did not recover was his kidneys. He was on dialysis for nearly three years awaiting a donor kidney. He received his new kidney June 2007. All was pretty good until he noticed a lump on he belly in Dec 2016. Long story short Ayden had Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferitive Disorder AKA. Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. The immunosuppressents he was taking for his transplanted kidney suppressed his immune system enough to let some B Cells in and make a home. Ayden is a tough fighter and his tumor has shrunk. Awaiting a the scan to see if its gone. I love my boy and he has been through to much for someone who is only 13 years old. You would love him as well L:-) Carole Mom to my loving son Ayden
