Clayton Creed, 14 yrs old, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-cell ALL) on June 30th 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin. He had been fighting a sinus infection that wouldn’t clear up. He spent his first month of treatment at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He moved for his dad’s new job in Chicago to Plainfield, Illinois and started consolidation treatment at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital in August 2019. He also started his freshman year of high school at Plainfield North. He has been a trooper through all of the ups and downs of treatment. Before being diagnosed Clayton played football, paintball, and wrestled. Currently Clayton enjoys watching NXL paintball competitions and is looking forward to deer hunting season. He is looking forward to getting his driver's license and learning to drive. Clayton’s positive attitude of taking treatment, school, and life “one day at a time” keeps him on track for the long haul of recovery. Clayton is supported by his mom, Leah, dad, Dan, and little brother, Bradford, and many extended family and friends.
