In May of 2018, Elijah was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). He will be in treatment for two and half years. He is a big joy in our lives, a fun and sweet and adventurous three year old, who loves being both a big and little brother. He makes an impressive Chewbacca noise, loves painting and creating, and plays school at home to learn his letters and shapes. He hopes to join big brother in school once it is safe for him in further phases of treatment. We have a strong faith and anchor of hope that keeps us and Elijah shining bright. He turned three this September and is in the midst of fighting a big battle. He goes to the clinic two or more times a week, sometimes spending six plus hours getting chemo and treatments.
