Emilia was diagnosed with leukemia on July 16, 2016. She has been undergoing treatment since that time and will continue until 2019. She is a strong girl who loves to be active and with her friends. She loves playing soccer, dolls and barbies. Emilia has a 5 year old sister, Avery who she looks up to and adores. She will do anything to make everyone laugh and smile. UPDATE: Emilia continues her treatment and has faced a variety of hurdles over the past two years. Throughout everything Emilia always tries to keep up and not let leukemia hold get back. She recently broke her leg due to get bones thinning from steroids, but you wouldn't have even noticed. Her full leg cast couldn't even slow her down. She loves learning and helping others!
