Emilie is 14 years old and battling acute lymphoblastic luekemia. She has struggled with chemotherapy. She suffered liver failure, neurotoxicity which caused a grand mal seizure and she ended up on life support followed by damage to her brain. Also had typhlitis which was caused by low blood counts. We've almost lost her twice and despite all the pain and struggles she's had she still smiles and continues to fight. She's currently in a very hard phase of chemo and struggling with pain and walking but still staying positive.
