Kiera was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome positive Very High Risk A.L.L. in April of 2012. Because Kiera has a rare form of A.L.L. she receives very high doses of chemo and is often confined to her hospital room and on isolationwhen she is admitted because the chemo makes her so sick. We live 2 hours from her treatment facility. She is not done with active treatment until April of 2015.
