Lola Sisler is a vibrant, brave 6-year old who can make just about anyone smile. On February 4th, 2015--World Cancer Day--she was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. Both Lola and her mom have actively supported the Cookies for Cancer charity for years. In fact, just within the last year, Lola (with the help of her mom) put on a bake sale to raise money for this organization, which provides annual research grants to advance the development of less toxic, more effective treatments for children battling cancer. Kelly has always raised Lola to give to others, to work for what she wants, and to fight, fight, fight when the going gets tough. Most importantly, Kelly has shown Lola that she never has to fight alone--loving friends and family will always be there with her.
