Mikey is a ten year old boy who loves working in the garage with his grandfather, loves John Deere, is sarcastic and funny, and is full of energy. A week before Thanksgiving, Michael's sister noticed that one of his eye's were moving into the corner towards his nose. The following Monday, Michael's school suggested that he be seen for the eye problem and a severe headache. That night in the Emergency Room, Mikey's family found out that he had a golf ball size brain tumor. It was a huge shock to his friends and family but Mikey and his family have been very positive and strong from the very beginning. On Thanksgiving, Mikey started chemotherapy and will continue with five more rounds plus radiation. Michael cannot wait to get back to school to be with his friends and feeling better.
