Philip was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor in Sept 2016. The tumor was successfully removed with his right kidney on Oct 1st, 2016. He completed 19 weeks of chemo and then we learned it had spread to his right lung. He underwent another surgery to remove the new tumor. He completed 8 days of radiation and is in week 17 of 25 of the new treatment plan. Throughout the entire process, Philip has always had a smile on his face and has handled his new lifestyle with no complaints as if this was normal. I am nominating him so we can express to him that he is such a strong boy and a super hero in our eyes!
