About Jaxon

Jaxon was diagnosed in April 2018 with lymphoblastic lymphoma. He had a swollen lymph node on his collarbone. It went away with antibiotics but 2 weeks after that it came back bigger, redder, and hot. It was taken out and after the biopsy, it was discovered that he had cancer. We were thrown for a loop big time because none of his blood work looked like that would be the issue. We had no idea. He was 5 at the time, just 3 weeks before his 6th birthday. He has been in treatment ever since and will not be done until July 2020. He is being treated at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He obviously spent a lot of time in the hospital and then at home, where he discovered his obsession with video games. He started with Minecraft and then it evolved into Fortnite, Madden, and the Lego Marvel/Star Wars games.
