Ethan was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 4. He has two more years of chemo left. Ethan was diagnosed with Pre-B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We were shattered after hearing that dreadful four word phrase, "Your child has cancer." It was the absolute worse day of our lives. After crying and desperately praying for healing, we took on the greatest challenge, to fight cancer. Our baby has endured a year of intensive chemo, a process of absolute torture. Witnessing our baby suffer and fight this life threatening disease with every ounce of his might has been life changing. To say that Ethan is our hero is an understatement. He is currently on the maintenance phase of his chemo treatment and will be receiving chemo for another 2 years. Ethan enjoys playing video games and watching movies. He played his first season of T-ball this fall and it was a dream come true. Cancer almost destroyed our baby but Ethan is a fighter and he fights every day. We are so proud of him and we feel privileged to have him as our son.
