On 10/26/17, doctors at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin found a large brain tumor in Kyson’s Head. A few days later he had a 10-hour life threatening operation to remove it. Our family found a week later that it was ATRT, an extremely rare cancer of the brain, diagnosed in only 30 kids every year. Kyson is now undergoing intense chemotherapy and eventually radiation at CHW. He’s a strong fighter and we’re hopeful for remission!!
