Natalija was diagnosed when she was 3. She immediately started chemo for 18 months. After chemo her tumor grew. She had surgery and they weren’t able to remove much. They started her on a clinical trial drug in October 2014. It’s been a miracle drug for her because it’s been keeping her stable for this long which we never expected. This medicine though she can not be in the sun at all. She’s extremely sensitive to it, and sunburns even if she has sunscreen on. So it’s been hard to be able to do much outdoors like most kids can.
