// GAMING CHARITY

A gaming charity that puts
play back in kids' hands.

Gamerosity is a gaming charity built on a simple belief: when a child is fighting cancer, the joy of play is not a distraction — it's part of how they get through it. We rally whole communities to deliver gaming gear and joy-filled Hero Packages to kids in treatment.

Gamerosity Hero mascot — a kid in a gold cape ready to play

Cancer treatment can take so much from a kid. Gaming gives a little of it back — control, connection, and the chance to just be a kid again.

// WHY PLAY MATTERS

Why gaming belongs in a hospital room

The impact of play in hospitals goes deeper than entertainment. For a kid in treatment, gaming is a way to feel like themselves again.

🎮

A sense of control

Cancer treatment takes choices away from a kid. A controller puts one back in their hands — they decide where to go, what to build, and how the story ends.

🌟

A doorway out of the room

A hospital bed is four walls. A game is an entire world. Play lets a Hero leave the ward for an hour without ever leaving the chair.

🤝

Connection when it's hardest

Online play keeps a kid linked to siblings, cousins, and friends who can't visit. Gaming turns isolation back into community.

💛

Plain, simple joy

Laughter is medicine too. The smile when a package arrives is the moment everything we do is built around.

// INSIDE A HERO PACKAGE

The gaming gear that goes into every package

Every Hero Package is built around one kid. For many of them, that centerpiece is gaming — chosen to match exactly what lights them up.

🕹️

Consoles & handhelds

A Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox — chosen around what a Hero already loves or has always wanted to try.

💻

Gaming PCs & laptops

For the Hero who dreams in high frame rates, a rig that keeps up with them through long hospital stays.

🎧

Headsets & accessories

Headsets, extra controllers, and the little extras that make play feel like home, not a hospital.

🦸

The Gamerosity cape

Every Hero gets a cape and badge that say it loud: you are strong, you are the hero of this story.

// HOW IT WORKS

From a nomination to a kid pressing start

  1. 1

    A Hero is nominated

    A parent, nurse, or friend tells us about a child in treatment — and what kind of play makes them light up.

  2. 2

    The community rallies

    Donors, gamers, and volunteers come together to fund a Hero Package built around that one kid's experience.

  3. 3

    Joy gets delivered

    We hand-deliver the gaming gear, cape, and notes from supporters — often by survivor Heroes who've been there themselves.
