They sent us to the ER with suspicion of an enlarged spleen. An ultrasound later, they found a 7 inch mass in her abdomen, a CT to confirm and then a bed on the oncology floor. The tumor biopsy confirmed neuroblastoma and we started chemotherapy that following week. 5 cycles of induction chemo 4 rounds of chemo immunotherapy 1 12 hour surgery 20 cycles of radiation 2 rounds of immunotherapy And more to come
