Alea loves to write.  She has written a poetry book and an autobiography to help other kids fighting cancer.  She loves Fanta Orange and ice cream.  Alea loves any book she can find, is an officer for Best Buddies at her school, and is involved with Sam’s Fans.

Alea was diagnosed at 12 and was in remission for 11 months before her cancer relapsed.  She has been receiving chemotherapy and immunology since March 202 and will not be done until March 2021.  It has been extremely difficult the second time around.
