Rally behind Gerardo

Our son, Gerardo Daniel (Dani), was diagnosed with unilateral retinoblastoma (eye cancer) in his right eye when he was just 5 months old\. What started as a small white, sparkly reflection in his eye led us to doctors, multiple appointments, and eventually the devastating diagnosis no parent ever wants to hear\. After learning that his right eye had no vision due to the tumor, we made the difficult decision to have his eye removed to eliminate the cancer and protect his life\.

Dani is happiest with the simple little things that bring him joy. He loves watching videos of farm animals and Ms. Rachel. He gets so excited about bubbles and loves playing with toy cars. Seeing his little face light up over the things he loves reminds us that even on the hardest days, there is still so much happiness in the little moments. ❤️

Dani would absolutely love a little ride-on toy car that he can sit in and drive around, especially since he loves being pushed around! He enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring, and taking in everything around him. Anything that encourages outdoor play, movement, and adventure would make him so happy. ❤️
